Weldon “Allan” Walker, 69, loving husband of 25 years to Sharon Walker, passed away December 12, 2022, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
A native of Union County, South Carolina, Allan was born January 1, 1953, the son of the late Acy Weldon Walker and Mary Evelyn Mowdy. Mr. Walker was employed as a pipe fitter. He enjoyed camping and loved the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Walker of the home; children, Kerry Walker (Melony) of Spartanburg, Brad Walker (Danielle) of Union, Gina Powers (Kevin) of Spartanburg, Mary Miller of Townville, Rebecca Miller of Townville, and Andrew Miller of Spain; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many other family members and loving friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Walker was predeceased by a brother, Mark Walker.
The family will host a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 17, 2022 in the sanctuary of Lakeview Baptist Church in Anderson, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Allan’s honor may be made to a charity of choice.
