Tommy Joe "TJ" Land

Tommy Joe Land “TJ”, 87, of Seneca, loving husband of Nancy Land, passed away peacefully at Cottingham Hospice House on June 20, 2025.

Born in Earls Grove, SC, he was the son of the late Henry Cromer Land and Lula Lee Sheriff Land.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Jeff (Melody) Land and Jon (Susan) Land, four grandchildren: Kristen (Brandon) Causey, Trent Land, Bailey Klaren, and Nash Klaren. Other survivors include one brother, Jerry (Emily) Land, and a sister, Sue Ellen Bright.

Nine brothers and sisters predeceased him.

Tommy was a member of the Seneca Presbyterian Church. He served the community for over fifty years as a pharmacist. He was an avid golfer and Gamecock fan. Tommy Joe loved his family and his grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM at The Brown Funeral Home, 101 E. North Second Street, Seneca.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 11:00 am at Seneca Presbyterian Church.

A burial will follow in Oconee Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Prisma Health Cottingham Hospice House, Hospice of the Foothills, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca.
