Shirley Jean Fletcher

Shirley Jean Fletcher, age 88, of Seneca, SC passed away Friday, February 16, 2024.

Shirley was born on August 12, 1935, in Bay City, Michigan, where she lived most of her early life. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Clara Rashotte of Bay City, Michigan.

The former Shirley Jean Rashotte worked in the accounting department Dow Chemical Co. until her marriage to William H. Fletcher Jr. on September 16, 1967, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Saginaw, Michiana.

Shirly was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Seneca, South Carolina.

She is survived by her husband; William H. Fletcher Jr. of Seneca; stepsons Bruce Fletcher and wife Debbie of Salado, Texas, Carl Fletcher and wife Carla of Brighton, TN and three step granddaughters, Tracy, April, and Victoria Fletcher.

There will be a Funeral Mass on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 10:00 am at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Seneca, South Carolina. Entombment will follow immediately after at Oconee Memorial Park.
