Sandra Wynne Black, age 79, passed away on Wednesday August 7, 2024, at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, South Carolina. Born on January 31, 1945, she was the loving wife of 61 years to Mr. Jerry Lee Black and daughter to the late Ralph Wynne and Junie Crenshaw Wynne.

Mrs. Black retired from the school district of Oconee County and is remembered by her friends and family for touching so many lives with her warmth and generosity. Her heart of gold and open door policy embodied her loving and compassionate nature.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Black is survived by children; Lee Black (Karen) of Westminster, South Carolina, Scott Black of Seneca, South Carolina, and Anna Black of Seneca, South Carolina, grandchildren; Hayley Black, Harper Black, Brayden Black, and expecting a great-granddaughter; Saylor Wynne Webb, sister; Janice Boggs, and honorary sister; Marlene Vassey, and brother & sister in law; Richard and Sally Black.

In addition to her parents, Sandra is predeceased by her sister; Martha Thomas, and brothers-in-law; Jimmy Thomas, and Jackie Boggs.

The family will receive friends at Utica Baptist Church on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM with a service to follow at 4:00 PM.
