Ronald Sherwood “Ronnie” Green
Seneca, South Carolina
Ronnie Sherwood Green, known to his friends as Ronnie, age 72, passed away on February 21, 2024, at Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca, South Carolina. Born on November 30, 1951, in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Sherwood and Mozelle Green.
Mr. Green was a veteran of the United States Army and will be remembered for his love of the local racetrack and fishing at the pond and Santee with his brothers.
Ronnie is survived by his daughter; Mary Beth Ramirez (Eric) of Easley, South Carolina, step-son Ben McCartha (Jennifer) of Anderson, South Carolina, granddaughters; Starlyn and Londyn Clardy, grandson; Knox Clardy, step-granddaughters; Olivia and Avalee McCartha, and brothers; Eddie Green (Renee) and Glen Green (Debi).
In addition to his parents, Mr. Green is predeceased by his brother; Rickie Green.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ronnie’s name to Make-A-Wish South Carolina (225 S Pleasantburg Dr c17, Greenville, SC 29607).
A celebration of life will be held at the home of Eddie and Renee Green on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 3:00 pm.
