Robert D. Gibson Jr., known to friends as “Snuggs” or “Gib”, age 59, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca, South Carolina. Born on January 19, 1965, he was the loving husband of 17 years to Karen L. Gibson and son to the late Robert D. Gibson Sr. and June Gibson.
Mr. Gibson is survived by his children; Ryan Gibson (Alyssa) of Chattanooga Tennessee, Wendy Pritchett (Caleb) of Jefferson, Georgia, and Stephen Gibson of Westminster, South Carolina, grandchildren; Leilah Gibson, Noah Gibson, and Zachariah Gibson, brother; Robin Dellemonache, and sister; Julie Chavis, niece; Vanessa Jordan, and in laws; Marilee and Ken Richards and Kim Marzano.
A memorial service will be held at Seneca Baptist Church on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
