Pauline S. Peay, age 86, loving wife of 65 years to the late Bobby Sloan Peay, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at her residence.
A native of Tiger Georgia, Pauline was born on August 11, 1936, to the late Robert Jessie Smith and Icie Pearl Rholetter Smith. She had a true passion for gardening, and loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her children; Teresa Maney of Westminster, Freda Boggs (Allan) of Six Mile, Richard Peay of Walhalla, Danny Peay (Terrie) of Savannah Tn., and Sonny Peay of Westminster, 17 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, and parents, Mrs. Peay was predeceased by her brothers; Ernest Smith and Johnny Smith, her sister Edith Pelfrey, and her great grandson Rhyder Ford.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Infinity Hospice.
If donations are preferred, donations can be made in Mrs. Peay’s honor to Infinity Hospice in lieu of flowers.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at West View Cemetery in Walhalla located at 300 S. Church St. Walhalla, SC 29691 at 1:30 pm.
Mountain View Funeral Home – Seneca Chapel is serving the Peay Family.
