Patricia Painter Worley

Patricia Painter Worley, 80, of Seneca, passed peacefully on July 14, 2025.

Born in Gaston, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Hoover Painter and Hattie Michales Painter.

She was the widow of Nathan Theo Worley.

Survivors include her Children: Mary Elizabeth Fitzgerald, Michelle Renee Carpenter, Margaret Anne Stanley, and her stepsons, Jeff and Chris Worley.

Other survivors include her grandchildren: Michelle, Billy, Joe, Jennifer, Heather, Meredith, Aaron, Angelina, Jesse, Maegan, Emma, Gage, Damon, and Rocco, as well as nine great-grandchildren.

Patricia was predeceased by one sister, Elizabeth Hill, two brothers, Christopher Auten and Robert Auten, and one son, Charles English.

She was a member of Utica Baptist Church.

A celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 3 PM in the Chapel of Brown Funerals. The family will receive friends before the service from 2-3 PM at the funeral home.

A burial will follow at a later date in Mt. Holly, NC.

Flowers will be accepted, and memorials may also be made to The Prisma Health Cottingham Hospice House, Hospice of the Foothills, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Cottingham Hospice House for the compassion and care they showed Patricia.
