Martha Ann Prater

Martha Ann Prater, 66, of Seneca, passed away on June 20, 2025, at Cottingham Hospice House.

Born in Seneca, she was the daughter of the late Howard Prater and Ellen Blackmon Prater.

Survivors include her brother, Randall L. Prater, one Aunt, Louise Spearman, and a special caretaker, Alice Crowe. She is also survived by numerous cousins.

Martha was predeceased by her sister, Beverly Diane Prater, and one brother, William Prater.

She was a member of the Seneca Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from Noon until 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 25,

prior to the service at the funeral home.

The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of The Brown Funeral Home, 101 E. North Second St., Seneca.

A burial will follow in Oconee Memorial Park.
