Linda Greene

Linda Greene, 67, of Fair Play, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024. Linda passed away peacefully at home, under the care of Hospice of the Foothills. She was the daughter of the late Billy C. Galloway and Mary C. Wingfield.

Linda was a child of God and very secure in her faith and relationship with Him. Mom loved to ride horses with her daughter Kay and friends. She also loved fishing with her grandson Weston, and when her body failed her, they played Fish-opoly. Linda’s dog Tessa was the most loving companion until her last breath. She found so much joy planting, watering, and nurturing her flowers and plants. Everyone that was blessed with the opportunity to spend time with Linda, knew how caring, loving, generous, and kind she was.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Kay Walters (Zack) of Fair Play, SC, grandson; Weston Walters of Fair Play, SC, brother; Carl Galloway of Pelion, SC, and nephew; L.C. Galloway.

Linda is predeceased by her parents, her brother; Mike Galloway, and her soulmate Rick Rawlinson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Foothills.

A visitation will be held for Linda at 11:00am, Thursday, July 11th 2024, followed by a memorial service at 12:00pm on the same day. Events will take place at Mountain View Funerals, Seneca Chapel.
