Lester Wayne Adams, age 72, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022, to begin his new life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mr. Adams was the loving husband of 52 years to his wife, Mrs. Georgia Ellen Moore Adams and son to Sudie McCoy Adams and the late William Lester “Runt” Adams.
A native of Oconee County, Wayne was born again on Friday, September 9, 2022, and served our country admirably in the United States Navy. He spent a large part of his life working with automobiles, his favorite of which were Corvettes.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Adams is survived by his son; George Wayne (Jennifer) Adams of Walhalla, South Carolina, Grandsons; Austin Tyler (Samantha) Adams of Walhalla, South Carolina, and Koen Bentley Adams of Walhalla, South Carolina.
In addition to his father, Wayne was preceded in death by his sister Linda Gail Adams (Bird) Laye.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne’s name can be made to MSA Hospice at 659 Sandifer Blvd Seneca, SC 29678, or to the charity of your choice.
The family is at their respective residence.
