Larry Glenn McGaha, 76, of Walhalla, South Carolina, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 30th,2024. He was the son of the late Jesse Monroe and Annie Herron McGaha, and the loving husband of 56 years to Betty Kay Campbell McGaha.
Larry graduated from Tamassee-Salem High School in 1966. After he attended Tri-County Technical College for Drafting. He worked at Koyo Bearings in West Union, SC for 30 plus years and owned a small engine repair business. Larry enjoyed fishing, bird hunting, attending basketball and baseball games with his boys and their friends. He liked to tinker and taking things apart. Larry loved all people, and they loved him. He also enjoyed playing the bass guitar at church. Larry was like a father to many of his son’s friends, and they shared that same feeling back toward him.
Larry is survived by his wife, Betty Kay McGaha of Walhalla, SC, children, Scott McGaha, Chris McGaha (Dawn), and Steven McGaha (Dena), all of Walhalla, SC, grandchildren, Chayse, Cade, Christa McGaha, Becca Koch (Will), and Logan Perkins, siblings, Clara Bryson, Leon McGaha (Lorene), and Jesse McGaha (Janice), nieces and nephews, Missy Kane (Jimmy), B.J. Bryson (Charity), Tracy Lusk, and Cameron McGaha (Alisha).
Larry is predeceased by his parents, Jesse and Annie McGaha, and his niece, Cheryl Bryson.

A memorial service will be held for Larry on November 3rd 2024 starting at 2:00PM, located at Keowee Church of God of Prophecy located at 105 Stamp Creek Landing Rd Seneca, SC 29672. A visitation will follow the service.
