Kenneth Thomas Sposato

Kenneth Thomas Sposato “Ken” 89, of Seneca, South Carolina, passed away on September 24th 2024 at Cottingham Hospice House. Ken was the son of the late Frank and Mary Sposato, and the loving husband of 63 years to Carol Krysinel Sposato.

Ken was a US Navy veteran. He was extremely proud of his fifty years of sobriety, which he achieved in June of this year. He was loyal in service to his fellow AA members up unto his final days. Ken loved living on the lake, working in his garden, hiking, horseback riding, reading mystery novels as well as history books. He especially loved walking on the beach, and traveling the world over the past many years, with his beautiful wife Carol. He also had a love for the arts, such as musicals and music concerts. The light of Ken’s life was his granddaughter Olivia, who he shared a special relationship with. Ken also had a deep bond with his daughter-in-law, Mary. They had many meaningful conversations, and he loved her like his third daughter.

Ken is survived by his wife; Carol Krysinel Sposato, daughters; Elizabeth Sposato (Jim Draughon former spouse) of Seneca, SC, and Christine Sposato (Mary Madeiras spouse) of Black Mountain, NC, grandaughter; Olivia Draughon, brother; Francis Sposato, sister-in-law; Eleanor Krysinel, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ken is predeceased by his parents; Frank and Mary Sposato, sister; Grace McLaughlin, brother-in-law; Don Krysinel, and nieces; Cathy Sposato and Janet Sposato.
