Karen Elizabeth Dillard Ridley age 62, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born October 17, 1959, she is the daughter of Randall Forrest Dillard of Walhalla, SC and the late Ploma (Capps) Smith.
Mrs. Ridley was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved and cared deeply for her grandchildren, aside from that her proudest life moment was building a home with her husband.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Kenneth Wayne Ridley, her son Kirby A. Ridley (Candace) of Westminster, SC, and two daughters Cheryl T. Smith (Jimi) of Seneca, SC and Kelly L. Portillo ( Nilson) of Walhalla, SC. Mrs. Ridley is survived by two brothers Johnny and Jeffery Dillard, as well as sisters Nancy Morgan and Ronda Dodd. She leaves behind 8 beautiful grandchildren: Emma, Benjamin, Leah, Matthew, Sarah, Lucas, Gracie, and Luke, as well as 5 nieces, 8 nephews, 3 great nieces and 11 great nephews.
A Graveside service Celebrating Karen’s Life will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Oconee Memorial Park with burial to follow.
The family is at their respective homes.
