Seneca, SC - Joyce McIntyre, 77 passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at home. She is the wife of Miles K. McIntyre. They were blessed with two children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was in the care of Hospice Home Care. She loved her family and set a good example for them to follow. We will always love her and cherish her memory. Thank you, Lord, for sharing her with us.

She was a member of Hepsibah Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir and camping with her family. Joyce worked as a dental assistant for more than 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her son, Miles David McIntyre II. She is survived by her husband of 61 years; her daughter, Karen L. Galloway; her grandchildren, Douglas E. DeWitt II and Melanie, Heaven, and Joshua McIntyre; and two great-grandchildren, Brennon D. Brown and Scarlett D. DeWitt.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm Saturday, February 24th. A celebration of Joyce's life will follow at 2 pm. Pastor John McKnight of Hepsibah Baptist Church will conduct the services. Mountainview Seneca Chapel will be assisting the family.
