John Michael Swafford age 74, of Mountain Rest, SC passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Seneca Health and Rehab. Born January 20, 1947, in Seneca, SC he was the son of the late Grover Swafford and Martha Cobb Swafford.
John was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry.
Survivors include his stepson Scott Webb (Wendy) of Walhalla, SC, and his grandson Jason Webb of Seneca, SC.
In addition to his parents John is peceded in death by his wife Elizabeth “Tib” Zachary.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Double Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
