John Barclay Curtis, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in Anderson, South Carolina. Born on December 13, 1941, he was the loving husband of 58 years to the late Joann Elizabeth Curtis and son of the late Jack Harry and Sybil Marie Curtis.
John served in the Air Force for 21 years and received his B.S. from Auburn University and M.A. from Texas A&M.
Mr. Curtis is survived by his children; Michael Curtis (Sherri) of Caledonia Nevada, and Lisa Curtis of Brookhaven, Georgia, grandchildren; Kelsey Curtis, and Josie Curtis, and sister; Penny Farrow.
In addition to his parents and wife, John is preceded in death by his brother; Peter Curtis.
