Jeffery J. Martin, known simply as Jeff to those who knew him best, age 80, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Carole Martin. Born on the Fourth of July 1942, he was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Martin.
After proudly serving our country in the United States Air Force, Mr. Martin worked at IBM until his retirement. A true jack of all trades, Jeff also volunteered as a firefighter and at one point worked as town supervisor in Sawkill New York. Ever the avid history buff, in his spare time Jeff loved reading and watching The History Channel.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Martin is survived by Children; Wendy Thomas (Eric) of Clermont, Florida, Brian Charles Martin, of Columbia, South Carolina, Brother; Dale Martin (Chris) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and many loving friends and family.
A small memorial service will be held at a later date.
