Jasper Junior Neal, Jr., age 58, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at his home in Walhalla, South Carolina. Born on July 28, 1964 in Oconee County, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Jasper Junior Neal and Sybil Louise Neal.
Mr. Neal served our country honorably for 29 years in the Army National Guard earning the national defense service medal, and global war on terrorism service medal during his tours of duty.
Jasper is survived by children; Daniel Brown of Seneca, Nathan Neal of Six Mile, Hannah Neal of Six Mile, Jesse Neal of Piedmont, and Missy Neal of Piedmont, grandchildren; Jaylah and Joaquin Brown, brother; Clyde Neal (Gail), and grandparents; Jaylah and Joaquin Brown.
In addition to his parents, Jasper is predeceased by two brothers, John Neal of Mt. Rest and Paul Neal of Walhalla.
A funeral service with military honors will be held at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers please make any donations out to the Walhalla chapter of the American Legion.
