Jane Robinson Pirkle Waddell, wife of Buddy Waddell, entered Heaven on June 21st, surrounded by her family at Cottingham Hospice House after a brief illness.
Born in Greenville County on March 8, 1951, she was the daughter of the late James Carl and Callie Mae Anders Robinson. Along with her parents, Jane was predeceased by her husband, Lonnie Pirkle, and her brother, JC Robinson.
Jane lived a life marked by kindness, compassion, and unwavering love. She was the heart of her family- steadfast, selfless, and always thinking of others before herself. She gave freely to her family, her friends, and her church. Her life was a reflection of love in action.
Jane is survived by her husband, Buddy Waddell, her son Brian Deyton (Valerie), daughter Cheryl Friedline (David), son Dean Pirkle, grandchildren, Bryce Deyton (Ashley), Kathryn Deyton McLees (Bryson), Emma Deyton, Joshua Walker (Nikki), great grandchildren Ethan Boone, Xavier Walker, Atlas Walker, sisters Pam Davis, Lib Nelson (Deems), an uncle Charles Anders (JoAnn), step-daughters, Charity Watkins (Rusty), Brittany Waddell, as well as many nieces and nephews all of whom will carry her love in their hearts and will miss her more than words can describe.
The family would like to thank The Cottingham Hospice House for their compassionate care they gave to our sweet Jane, as well as our family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Forestville Baptist Church, 2 Old McElhaney Road, Greenville, SC.
The Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 pm.
