James Murray “Jim” Hintz
Seneca, South Carolina
James Murray Hintz, known to friends and family as Jim, passed away on Thursday September 28, 2023, in Seneca, South Carolina at the age of 73. Born in Lake Forest, Illinois on September 16, 1950, he was the son of the late Donald Murray and Gladys Ada Hintz.
Mr. Hintz received his B.A. from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin. He was an avid golfer and an accomplished guitarist who enjoyed his retirement with his friends at Keowee Lake.
James is survived by niece; Laura Putnam (Pete), nephew Eric Hemmeter (Ginny), and brother-in-law Rich Hemmeter.
In addition to his parents James is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Hemmeter.
