James Milton Goldsmith

James Milton Goldsmith “Doc”, 59, of Westminster, SC passed away on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023. He was the son of the late Frank Johnson and Isbelle Evatt Goldsmith.

Doc was a Desert Storm veteran and Bronze Star recipient for his service in the U.S. Army. Doc never met a stranger. A landscaper by trade, he enjoyed cutting people's grass and helping them cut trees. He also was a gardener who grew tomatoes and peppers, as well as an avid Clemson football fan.

"Doc is survived by his daughters; Ashley Nicoson (Trevor) of San Antonio TX, and Jessica Goldsmith of Seneca, SC, grandchildren; Alyssa and Teller Nicoson, siblings; Maryland Poole, and Mary Staggers (Calvin), and two brothers-in-law, one uncle, number of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and life long friends such as Sammy Butts."
Doc is predeceased by his parents and siblings; John T. “Kenny” Goldsmith, Robert “Dooley” Goldsmith, Martha “Mot” Craig, and Betty J. Goldsmith.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Goldsmith on Monday, November 13th, 2023 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home, located at 101 E N 2nd Street Seneca, SC 29678.
