Jim Brooks, 88, loving husband of 17 years, to Carol Anne Brooks, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023.
Jim was born in Altoon, PA, on July 16, 1934, to the late James Blaine Brooks and Fannie Elizabeth Schum Brooks. He grew up around railroads in Altoon and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida for High School. After graduation Jim attended the University of Florida and the Pratt Institution in NYC. Jim served in the United States Navy where he achieved the rank of Captain. He was a Graphic Designer for Hughes Aircraft Company. He loved Sailing and Jazz Music.
Jim is survived by his wife Carol Anne Brooks of Salem, his cousins; Kellye Rick Klos, Davis Kent Schum, Karin Schum Ashcraft, Ruby Jay Craft, Isaac Craft, Brian Cosby.
