Gregory Bruce Smith “Greg”

Gregory Bruce Smith, known to his friends as Greg, age 52, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023, in Powdersville, South Carolina. Born in Anderson County on March 19, 1971, he Was the son of the late Virginia Harneathea Smith.
Upon graduating from Seneca High School Greg received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and worked in retail for over 25 years. He was a blue belt in Taekwondo and wrestled in the South Carolina North Carolina, and Georgia tri-state area.
Greg is survived by his sisters; Sheila Smith, Laura Anthony, brother; Brian Smith, and nephew; Tristan Smith and his grandmother; Nina Mae Brewer Turbeville.
In addition to his parents, Greg is preceded in death by his nephew; Daniel Aldrich of Pickens, South Carolina.
A graveside service will be held at Oconee Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
