Gary Ray Prichard

Gary Ray Prichard quietly passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 82. He demonstrated leadership, dedication, courage, fairness, and perseverance up to his final transition and into his eternal journey.

Gary was born in Rolla, Missouri, on September 15, 1941, to the parents of Ruth Pratt Prichard and Olin Ray Prichard. He is survived by his wife Linda J. Prichard of Georgia, his daughter Annie E. Prichard of California, stepsons Mark Dowdy and Erik Dowdy of Georgia, granddaughter Taylor Dowdy of Illinois, sister Jan Grossmann and husband Larry Grossmann of North Carolina, Joe Prichard of Missouri and Luther Dowdy, his longtime friend.

Gary served as a minister of the Christian Church Disciples of Christ for 20 years, later studying and transferring his membership to the worldwide Baha’i Faith community. He was a true servant in so many ways. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
