Gary Matthew Dyer

Gary Matthew Dyer, 66, of Seneca, was born on April 19,1959 in Los Angeles California. He passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 24th, 2025 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was the son of Marjorie & Roy Dyer.

 The family relocated to West Palm Beach Florida where he met his Wife, Donna Dyer and they were married on April 25, 1990. Gary and his wife Donna relocated to Seneca, SC in 1997. Gary is survived by his mother Marjorie Johns; Sister Vickey Kennedy (Frankie) & two nephews Agiean and Kai; His Wife Donna Dyer, & four children, Jonathan Roberts (Amanda) , Joshua Dyer (Rose), Catelynn Dyer (Jordan), & Braylen Dyer; Seven Beautiful Grandchildren Londyn Roberts, Annalyse Roberts, Phoenix Dyer, Sophia Dyer, Angel Blackwell, Hadley Dyer, & Callum Gamble; & sister in-law Janette McKnight.

He was an extremely hard worker who worked trim carpentry for over 20 in the surrounding areas of Oconee County. Many knew him as "Moby". Gary loved woodworking, motor sports, & fishing. He also enjoyed being by the ocean whenever possible. Gary tried his best to make people laugh with his corny "DAD" jokes, some of his favorite snacks were Honey Buns, Swiss rolls, & Frosted apple pies. He loved being with his family, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Gary will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
