Frankie Lou Conover (Farmer), 76, passed away on March 17, 2025, in Seneca, South Carolina. Born on December 4, 1948, in Vincennes, Indiana, she lived a life filled with love, warmth, and an unwavering devotion to her family.
Frankie is survived by her beloved husband, William Conover, her children, Michael Conover, Michelle Conover, Rocky Conover, Mathew Conover, Brenda Conover, and Kristi Rushton; her grandchildren, Gavin Conover, Max Conover, Kiri White, Devin Hunley, Aidan Conover, Ethan Conover, Stanley Conover, Tyler McClelland, and Sara McClelland; and her great-grandchildren Weston Hunley, Mariah Hunley, and Gryffin White. She also leaves behind her brother Tommy Farmer. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margie Allen Farmer; her brother Fred Farmer; and her sister Leah Farmer Snowden.
Frankie had a smile for every stranger and a joyful spirit that could light up any room. Her kindness was boundless—she made everyone feel welcome with her infectious laughter and warm presence. She met and fell in love with her soul mate Bill in 1972 and had a romance to be envied for 52 years. She was and forever will be “his Gal” and he, her “ handsome Bill”. She had a special bond with her granddaughter Max; the two shared countless shopping trips and secret outings for Chinese food. Her grandson Gavin continued to be her “sweet boy” even as he towered over her. Frankie’s love for scrapbooking and photography allowed her to capture cherished memories for those she loved. She found joy in cooking—especially when it came to sweets—and was known for making a mean potato soup whenever someone was feeling under the weather. Fiercely protective of those she held dear, she was a source of comfort and strength to all who knew her. Frankie’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May we all have comfort in the happy memories of her we hold.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 2:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home, Cremation Society of SC - Brown Funeral Home.
