Florence Irene O’Donald went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 3, 2023. She was born on August 9, 1937, in Cateechee South Carolina and was the loving daughter of the late Melvin H. O’Donald and Ellen Payne O’Donald.
Florence is survived by her daughters, Kathy James and Susan Harris of Seneca, South Carolina and special friend and companion Charles (Chuck) Sloan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Michael Lane (Ben) Owens and Edward Dennis (Sput) Owens, sisters; Clara Kay and Beatrice “Beatie” Owens, brothers; John O’Donald and Ralph O’Donald.
Florence was of the Baptist faith. No formal service is being held per her request. Condolences may be expressed online by visiting the Mountain view Funeral Home website.
