Ethel Ann Simmons 71, our beloved mother went home on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jesse David Simmons.
Born in Oconee County, Ann was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Dickert. Ann was a seamstress. She was of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by sisters Elaine, Helen, Brenda, Jane, Rita and Denise, son James Holmes and daughter Michelle Holmes both of Central. Daughter Tonya Holmes(Sammy Graham) of Anderson, grandchildren Samuel “Joey” Lockaby, Samantha (Cody) Driver, Rachel (Thomas) Holmes, Catlin Graham, and Riley Ross, also 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband William Joseph “Billy” Holmes, daughter Sharon Renee Ross, a sister, and 2 brothers. Also grandson Justin Dennis Graham.
The family is at her sister's home Denise King (132 Vista Dr Clemson).
A visitation will be on Thursday, December 28 2023, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home in Seneca, South Carolina with a service following immediately after in the funeral home chapel.
Mountain View Funerals and Cremation - Seneca Chapel is serving the Simmons family.
