Ernest Wayne Hippensteal

Ernest "Wayne" Hippensteal, 46, of Seneca, passed away on April 7, 2025. Born in Oconee County, he was the son of the late George Wayne Thompson and Renee Elaine Pittman Thompson. 

Survivors include his wife of the home, Jennifer Hippensteal, his children: Breanna (DWayne Teal) Moore, Blake (Kelsey) Hudgins, Jada (Austin Blackwell), Delana (Charlie Bradburn) Hippensteal, Other survivors include one nephew, Brady Swafford, and one grandchild: Mylah Bailey.

Wayne loved his children, he loved his job, and he loved to help people. He was a goofball who loved Mt. Dew Code Red and Reese's Cups.

The family will have a private gathering of friends and family.
