Ellen Oliver Sanders

Ellen Oliver Sanders McFadden, 71, born December 21, 1953, in Camden, SC, passed away on June 4, 2025, while living in Walhalla, SC. She was the daughter of the late Rock and Patsy Oliver. 

Survivors include her Children: Robert McFadden and Michael (Meghan) McFadden, other survivors include her Siblings: Dan (Annie) Oliver, Chad (Fatma, deceased) Oliver, and Sally (Felix) Gravino.

As a lifelong member of one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she had a very strong faith in the Bible and its promises. Ellen always found the best in people and situations. She was a highly respected professional editor, enchanting poet, and gifted writer. She loved working with her hands and spending many hours in her garden. She loved to travel and go out with her friends. She was always listening to music, especially The Beatles, and enjoyed dancing. Ellen was known as a selfless person who was always positive with a great big smile. She was intellectually adventurous and the best friend anybody could ever have. Ellen loved all of her friends and family and will be greatly missed.
