Duane Michael Groomes, 61, of Seneca SC passed away at Cottingham Hospice House on September 28th, 2023. Duane was the son of the late Colie Lee Groomes and Mittie Annette Groomes, and the loving husband of 17 years to the late Jane Marie Groomes.
Duane enjoyed gardening and being outside. He is survived by his mother, children; Leighann Sherman (Jeremiah) of Walhalla SC, and Monica Jenkins (Khaill) of Westminster SC, grandchildren; Ansleigh Groomes, Brennan Sherman, Caidyn Sherman, Kharter Jenkins, Kailee Jenkins, and baby Jenkins, brothers and Sisters; Chris Groomes, Debra Kincaid, Carl Groomes, and Pamela Crawford.
Duane is predeceased by his father, wife, and brother Russ Groomes.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Kidney Foundation.
Mountain View Funerals and Cremations Seneca Chapel is assisting the family.
