David Eugene Hollingsworth, age 72, husband of Frances Hollingsworth, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at his residence.
A native of Monroe, North Carolina, David was born on May 10, 1951, to the late Downey and Helen Hollingsworth. He was a United States Navy Veteran, as well as an employee of Hollingsworth Painting and various Security Companies. David enjoyed fishing and watching T.V.
Survivors include his wife Frances of the home, his children; Chris Hollingsworth (Kim Nash) of Monroe, NC, Brian Cassell (Lora) of Central, and Greg Cassell of Central, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family will host a private memorial service at a later date.
