David Carl Bourne was born April 16, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia and went home to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 27, 2023, at the age of 71. He is survived by his sisters Charlotte Tammy Akin (Danny) and Susan Anita Correia. He is also survived by numerous cousins and nephews. He lived his last years in the care of his cousin Joyce and Miles McIntire, residents of Seneca, South Carolina.
David was known as a kind and loving person. He brightened everyone's day who crossed his path. He was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church and was baptized into the fellowship of the church on June 30th, 2002. There will be a memorial service celebrating David's life on June 8th, at Mountain View Funerals & Cremations — Seneca Chapel located at 101 E North 2nd St. Seneca, SC, 29678. The family will receive friends and guest at 1:00 PM followed by David's Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 8th.
