David Arthur, age 73, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Manna Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Pickens, South Carolina. Born on October 30, 1950, he was the son of the late Jesse Elijah and Beulah Clay Northern.
David attended Greensburg Salem Highschool in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania where he played football. In his spare time, he enjoyed fixing computers, reading, listening to music, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.
Mr. Arthur is survived by his significant other, Penelope Thompson of Seneca, South Carolina, daughter; Alyssa Arthur of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, grandchildren; Nick Swivetsky and Freya James, and brother; Robert Northern.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his sister Sarah Northern.
