Darlene Cloninger Taylor, age 67, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina. Born on December 27, 1957, she was the daughter of Oma Sue Bryson and the late Edward Lee Cloninger.
Mrs. Taylor worked as a nurse for many years and also had a CDL license. She was a member of the Jimmy Swaggart Church Ministry and is remembered by her friends and family for her love of Clemson Football, soap operas, and her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Darlene is survived by her children; Brittany (Daniel) Williams of Anderson, South Carolina, Chris Wriston (Angel) of Lancaster, South Carolina, Chuck Wriston (Mary) of Seneca, South Carolina, and Brandon Greer (Katie) of Vale, North Carolina, 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 2 brothers, 1 sister and 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Taylor is predeceased by a granddaughter and the special love of her life, Jimmy Taylor.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
