Cherry Smith Howard

Cherry Smith Howard, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 10.

Cherry was born in Cannon, GA on July 29, 1956. She was the beloved wife of Tim Howard, and together they shared a beautiful life filled with love and companionship. Cherry was a devoted and nurturing mother to her three children, Krystal Carey, Mitch Howard, and Teke Howard. She was a source of strength, guidance, and unwavering support for her family.

Cherry was an active member of Harvest Church, where she dedicated her time and energy as the Connections Director. Her warm and inviting smile greeted both guests and regular attendees, creating an atmosphere of love and acceptance within the church community. Cherry's genuine care for others made a lasting impact on the lives she touched.

Beyond her role at Harvest Church, Cherry was known for her kind heart, compassion, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her infectious laughter and smile brightened the days of those around her. She had a deep love for her three dogs and enjoyed spending time catering to their every need.

Cherry leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured by her family and friends. While her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service to celebrate Cherry's life will be held at Harvest Church in Seneca, SC on January 14. The family be receiving friends from 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM with the Celebration of Life beginning at 3:00 PM and officiated by Stephen Hoell.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Harvest Church Oconee in Cherry's memory.
