Cecil Wilborn Honea, 89, husband of Carolyn King Honea, Mountain Rest passed away Thursday, January 19, at Prisma Health, Seneca.
Born in Westminster, Mr. Honea was the son of the late Harrison J. and Effie Leathers Honea. He was retired from Oconee State Park and a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on his farm and his grandchildren were his delight.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Richard (Jessica) and Brandon (Shannon) Honea, and the loves of his life, three grandchildren, Laken, Rachel, and Logan all of Mountain Rest. Sister Sandra Barnum and brother Nathan Honea. Mr. Honea was preceded in death by brothers Walker and Bobby Honea, and sisters Nellie Allsep and Linda Freeman.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
