Cary Ellison, age 72, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, South Carolina. Born on September 18, 1950, in New Orleans Louisiana, he was the loving husband of 15 years to Mrs. Shawn Ellison and son to the late Lester Brown and Eleanor Ellison.
Mr. Ellison was a skilled electronic technician and owned Sunwoof Computer Repair in Walhalla, South Carolina. He will be remembered for being a great cook and excellent dancer.
In addition to his wife, Cary is survived by children; Jennifer Ellison of Charleston, South Carolina, Nicole Riggs of Greer, South Carolina, and Becky Johnson of Greenville, South Carolina, siblings; Keith Ellison of Baton Rouge Louisiana, and 3 grandchildren.
Cary is preceded in death by his brother, Greg Ellison.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Mr. Ellison’s name.
A private memorial gathering will be held by the family at a later date.
