Carl Hamby, 74, of Seneca, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Johnny Hamby and Ruth Watson Hamby, and the loving husband of the late Brenda Barnwell Hamby.
Carl is survived by his daughters; Sandra Cole (Tony) of Piedmont SC and Geneva “Shown” Rider (Keith) of Easley SC, grandchildren; Jason, Umbra, Matthew (Ania), Melissa (Cody), Leona, Livia, Sean, and Darrean, great-grandchildren; Elijah, Caden, Kaylynn, Shiloh, and Dylan, brother; Eugene T. Hamby (Ewa), and four nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hamby was predeceased by his parents, wife, brother; Steve, and sister; Brenda.
A visitation will be held for Carl on Saturday, October 7th 2023, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home in Seneca SC.
A private memorial will be held on a later date at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
