Betty Joyce Bright, age 83, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at her home in Seneca, South Carolina. Born on June 02, 1940, she was the loving wife of 66 years to the late Landy Moses Bright and daughter of the late Glenn Alfred Bramlet and Lyla Mae Johnson.

Mrs. Bright is survived by children; Douglas Landy Bright (Janice) of Tamassee, grandchildren; Mathew and Ashley Bright of Seneca, step-grandson; Bradley Collins (Beth) of Westminster, great-grandchildren; Ophelia Bright and late Brianna Bright, step-grandchildren; Caleb & Josiah Collins; and siblings, Thomas Bramlett (Carolyn) of Seneca, Earl Bramlett and deceased Peggy of Anderson, and Dennis Bramlett of Actworth, Kansas. She also loved all her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter Brianna Bright.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Mountain View Funerals & Cremations – Seneca Chapel. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM with a burial at Oconee Memorial Park to follow immediately after.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Foothills.
