Ann Dyar Butts, age 97, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Lila Doyle in Seneca, South Carolina. Born on December 25, 1925, she was the loving wife of 60 years to the late Clem Butts and daughter of the late William Edward and Pearl Eliza Dyar.
Ann worked in the textile industry as a weaver for most of her life prior to retirement and her employers included such places as Abney Mills, JP Stevens, and Milliken.
Ann is survived by her son-in-law; Gene Meredith and grandchildren; Don Meredith and Dale Meredith.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ann is predeceased by her daughter; Sheryl Meredith, brothers; Joe Dyar, Horace Dyar, Hubert Dyar, John Dyar, and Alvin Dyar, and sisters; Alma Dyar Oliver, and Edna Dyar.
